When we go for "walkies", every leaf, every footprint, and yes, every "message" is something to be explored, investigated, learned from ...

I'm not saying I'm going to start sniffing doggy um ... "presents", don't get me wrong, but when she is running along, tail bouncing as she plays in the leaves ... I can't help but pause, and look at the trees, the river, the beauty all around us- in our *own* neighbourhood!

I try, every day, to be thankful for this beautiful community to which we belong, our city's best-kept secret.
